Need Information On Some Books Dealing With National Currency

Redneck New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 09/18/2021 3:04 pm does anybody know of any books dealing with oklahoma national banks. trying to figure out some faded signatures on some notes. just curious if any books they tell about who the cashier and presidents of banks were back in the day. thanks for any info. Your best bet on signatures is finding similar notes from the same bank that are in auction records (HA.com for example). Their auction archives are a wealth of information. westcoin Pillar of the Community United States 9792 Posts	Posted 09/23/2021 2:18 pm I'd say the Don Kelly book is the best one to start with the basic information (6th Edition form 2008 is the last one made). Peter Huntoon also has a book titled "U.S. Large size National Notes" as well as another volume covering Territorial National Notes, if your's are older than the state and go back into the Territories era. Maurice Burgett; Steven Whitfield wrote a pamphlet guide/reference book on Oklahoma Territorials in 1980.
