Hard to tell, with the other side corroded like that. In the centre of the top pic: I think I see numbers. If that's a date, "946" (or maybe "1946"), that should help narrow down the search. If I had to guess, I'd say 1946, Jodhpur?

This is a coin of Islam Shah Suri, Delhi Sultan, India(1545-1552 AD).The date is 956 AH.Consult "Sultanate coins of India."

Good call, drnsreedhar. Comparing the pics in my copy of G&G I'd call it D1062, half-paisa, mintless type, or perhaps D1061, a 1 paisa, like this one on zeno.ru.

A diameter measurement would confirm the denomination, but it's identified enough for me to finally call this one.
