Another part of the error haul from a recent coin show. I really like the crack into the coin on this one.

That's a very nice defective planchet! I too like that crack going throughout the coin. Nice pickup!

Wow! I love this one!

It's really interesting that the crack on the obverse is much further into the coin than the one on the reverse. I wonder if it would be an angled break if that section dropped off.

Another nice error.

I think of these as ragged clips (blow-holes) or slag inclusions that happen to overlap the rim of the coin. The examples @ error-ref.com are all located interior of the rim.

I didn't know this was an error until I saw this post. I believe I have some. Is there anything I need to look for to indicate it isn't a planchet error and just damage? Or indicators that it is? Very nice by the way.
