Think my 1943 s Lincoln Penny may be a steel coin. It weighs appro 2.7 g, sticks to the magnet, and think it is authentic. I have not mastered the uploading an image.....yet. In the meantime, I would appreciate any comments.
Sounds like a normal coin. They were all supposed to see steel and 2.7 grams that year. If they are shiny that is a bad thing. The surface has been altered. This is what a normal coin in original condition would look like. MS-67 Not like this one: The reprocessing this coin cut the value a lot.
