Thanks for that info rbf. Only one of these- if you include shipping, ended below the US Mint's price plus shipping. It still puzzles me why anyone would buy these from the US Mint and then turn around and sell them on ebay for what would be a loss after fees.

Well..... I still hope that 25 to 30 years from now, the lowest mintage Kennedy will have a BETTER VALUE THAN THAT ! They are still for sale right now, and I wouldn't expect to "be in the black" just quite this early !...........so "low price but low demand" could change over time.
Another thing to consider......THEY MAY DISCONTINUE THIS KENNEDY SERIES AT ANY TIME. It could be like the Ike. (just hopefully better value). And after a few years of being discontinued, maybe the price on "the lowest minted Kennedy" will be a little more desirable.
But, as I've said......I've never sold a coin in my life....and never intend to, so the fact that they're cheaper on ebay now than buying right from the Mint (which puzzles me too....because that's just idiotic) doesn't dissuade me from my interest in the 2008 Kennedys. (or the '06, '07, or the '09's which I have also in two rolls sets)
