I agree, just post mint damage, no strike through. Wheaties have a value of only about 3 cents wholesale, and that's the premium on this one I'm afraid. What I think you're seeing as a "strike through" on the obverse looks like columns from a post '58 cent, which doesn't make sense on a wheatie. Keep searching!

Where are you seeing columns on this coin or anything remotely close to them? I see a strong '19' followed by a weak '19'
I don't even see anywhere in this topic that someone even mentioned a clash of any kind. and if Columns did show up on a coin IT WOULD have to be a clash not a strike through (if that were even possible on a wheat coin). Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying that it is a clash, or even columns showing on this coin. I'm saying it is a weak strike of the second part of the date maybe due to a partially filled die on the last 2 numbers of the date.
