Oh by the way, if justifiable, opinions on body bagging worthiness will not be considered offensive. I've got to have a warm fuzzy that the TPG will not take my $ and run away with it etc...

I'm a VF30 straight, wouldn't consider the rim hit substantial enough for a Details des.

I'm closer to VF-25, but 30 wouldn't surprise.

i'd net it to VF25. hard to say what they would do with the rim. looking at the reverse I'm not seeing the underside of it so could it be from a die chip rather than a ding?

VF-30 for detail. The rim hit is distracting but maybe not enough to preclude a straight grade. The black areas on the obverse and date digit weakness hurt eye appeal somewhat.
If you submit for grading please share your result!

Remember, there all just opinions including the TPGs that also will give different results sometimes.

I always share but in this case the distraction is so small it's sitting on a thin fence and could fall on either side: details or not...

1) 1st questions: For the details crowd, if you do not mind a TPG-graded details coin, is it still worth the TPG costs to send it in? Or would the extra perceptive resale value of a slabbed details coin exceed the worth of an unslabbed coin with a prospective buyer thinking that it could have a chance 'not' to get a TPG details designation?

2) 2nd question: For those fence sitters, which way are you now going to fall with this close-up rim shot as evidence?

Might not detail the coin, but would prevent me from buying it.
