the photos are a little too small to give an good assessment. the 89(P) mostly show up as average strikes which this one fits in that box. cant really tell if the luster is broke across the cheek OR if there is any circulation wear on the tips of the wings. it looks MS but certainly not 66 or 67. MS64 without larger photos with a possibility of 65 if all the luster is there and unbroken

I'm going to send it in. Will be a while before I post what grade it gets. Pics are as best as it gets on this outdated site, 300 kb doesn't give much to work with. Luster is full everywhere.

Try cropping your images before you upload them. You have a lot of wasted space there...We don't need to see your hand to evaluate your coin.

You do realize how rare a 67 is in a Morgan dollar, don't you? As others have said, the pictures are too small for any kind of an accurate assessment of grade, but from what I think I see, I'm leaning 64/65. P.S. Just after I made the above comment, I saw that you just posted some enlarged pictures, so I'm adding this to my (above) comment. Based on the new pictures I will stay with my initial grade assessment.

Based on your pictures it doesn't look gem. Obverse has some coin contact marks, one in the left obverse field left of the mouth, disturbances in the upper portion of the left obverse field. Right obverse field has another scuff by the M of UNUM. Some hits in the lower cheek by the neck. Cheek is pretty clean, but light hits scattered across the entire obverse. Reverse shows a black X below the left wing of the eagle. Small bag hit to the right of the U in United. I'd say 64.

I'd say MS-64 from these pics. Luster is not strong enough to get above 65. The 300kb limit isn't the problem with the photos.

MS64 more than likely from this coin. I've had a couple of MS67 Morgans in my time, you know it when you hold one, I've even held a few MS68 coins as well. Jack Lee had amazing coins in his Morgan collections over the years. I was lucky enough to get to examine many of his coins up close in hand. Here is a photo of the same date in a PCGS holder MS67 Cert #43179818 and I think this one is a touch over graded in my opinion, it's more MS66++ than deserving of a full MS67 grade.

This is going to be cool when I post the grade. You guys are like flea market coin dealers and noobs. It's 66 minimum. I'm looking at 66+ with way more marks on it and softer strikes than this one. I took it out in the full sun , turned the cheek right at the camera in order to hide absolutely nothing and in full sunlight took the picture, there's nothing there, I'm getting it's a 64 and not quite sure if the lusters full. The stupidity of the comments on this site. Those photos are so you can see the coin in hand , in natural light. All the 66+ examples have ever so lightly of marks on the cheek and fields, and the lightest of softness on the wing tips and breast, you can go view the plate photos on PCGS CoinFacts and NGC , which I have done , and also looked at Morgan's graded 66 in hand compared to this one. And yes I know how rare a 67 is, and it's probably not but it's borderline for sure. I handle and look at thousands of graded coins in hand every year for 17 years and I will be shocked if it comes back less than 66.

The only thing that makes me sad about this is that you definitely wont post here again when it comes back.
The coin will not get higher than 64 IMO, and I would put a significant amount of money on that
