Unknown Roman 1 Of 4

Thanks, @Biancasdad. I checked both rulers but I cannot confidently find a match in Wildwinds. Some obverse letters appear to be ..AIANOC.. or ..D(delta)IANOC.. which would fit Trajan or Gordian, but the letters before don't look right.

The reverse has some letters which may be ..MHTPO..
which may be part of the city name.

I'll put this aside for now. It was part of a group of 26 I got and the only one I can't identify yet.

@january1may, that is an interesting bit of detective work. Looking at the coin in-hand, I find it quite plausible that I can see..VAΛEPIANOC. As to the obverse, it looks like ...MHTPOP... the only problem being that it should look like ...MHTΡOΠ...
