1948 Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC Is This A Die Chip Under The Eye Making A Pronounced Lower Eyelid?

gsp193 Pillar of the Community United States 975 Posts	Posted 10/02/2021 2:47 pm I know it is very worn but this just does not look right under the eye, a die chip or something? It looks too pronounced too me also the letters look very thick to me but I am always wrong about that. Any help appreciated! Thanks in advance! Report this Post to the Staff

gsp193 Pillar of the Community United States 975 Posts	Posted 10/02/2021 4:29 pm I was looking at Variety Vista 1948 DDO-001,1-0-IV and just under the eyelid there is a faint double eyelid edge appearance on this coin that matches the Variety Vista picture to me, however it is faint. But I cannot find the defined lower eyelid (if that is what this is) or die chip Report this Post to the Staff
