Eliddell New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 10/02/2021 4:39 pm Hi all, I'm Brand new to coin roll hunting and just went through my first box of half dollars. No silver found and I haven't really done much examining yet, just sorted them by year. But I did find this odd coin. A 1972 D mint mark with no FG and apparent gold plating. Does anyone know anything about this coin? Is it worth anything? Report this Post to the Staff

Some folks apply gold leaf at home. Whatever the case, this Kennedy half did not leave the U.S. Mint with this gold on it. Report this Post to the Staff
