Since I am still learning this hobby need some advise on whether this coin has a double die or Mechanical Doubling on the date.

MD a doubled die would make the devices larger, MD makes the raised devices smaller and flattens the part of the device that has the doubling.

Thanks for the information. Could not find an instance of it being a double die but decided to let someone more knowledgeable make the call.

There are no listing for a DDR on any of the incuse devices on the reverses of the ATB Quarters. It is MD as mention and happens 70% of the time, mild to extreme. Just a common event. The DDR's are on the central areas of the designs. Look at the listing for see where to find the DDR's on each listings.

Some designs will not have listings as the design doesn't create DDR's on some. But no listing will be seen on that area on the ATB Quarters. DDRs do not occur on that area.
