There was a 1988 with the FG initials being near the Memorial building rather than the normal far version, but with your cent, the initials in in their normal far position. It's one of them but yours does not have it. The horizontal that you see on the G is a die gouge or die scratch, more than likely and there is not vertical present on your G.
