1971 D Kennedy Half Dollar Weighs 11.17?

Hello!!! My 1971 D Kennedy half dollar weighs only 11.17. I know it's supposed to weigh 11.34ish give or take a few points but I'm thinking this is pretty low weight...does anyone have any ideas?
I compared the side of it to a 2001 Kennedy half dollar (only other one I have ha)

Seems about right, its only 1.2% under and the coin looks fairly worn and weakly struck particularly on eagles breast.
