Why are the 2021 proof silver quarters going for so much money? Low mintage or what? Each coin has just over $4 melt value, and they're selling for $20-$30?

Supply and demand? I believe these proofs have to come from proof sets. Perhaps not many people want to break these open.

In a way, it is the same story with the silver proof Statehood Quarters dated 1999 to 2003. The price I had to pay for the '99 quarters was quite steep.

I dunno.
Mebbe it's because it will be the only one year regular issue that ran for just 6 mo?
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

The 2020 Coinage Act shot down the WCTD as the perm. design it was scheduled to be in the ATB act. The text of the 2020 act has 2021-2025 for notable women, 2026 for semi-sesquicentennial designs, and then 2026-->forever as Youth Sports. I don't get youth sports... Baseball, Softball, Football, Soccer, BMX, Running, Madden, Halo, WoW, Minecraft... then what?
