Hello Coin Family. I Need some insight on this Ben Franklin half dollar. I check Wexlers for a listing but no listing exists. Has anyone come across machine/Hub doubling this step like ? Thanks in advance for any additional information. Did my best with the pictures, hopefully they are clear enough. Sometimes these things don't translate well.

Unfortunately this is MD. It's most noticeable on the D mintmark, notice how thin it looks?

I agree, Machine Doubling. A die event, not an error.

Your close up images are better then the full image shots. (Most people it is just the other way) Keep doing what your doing. They are great the way they area. On the full images shots, a bit of contrast adjusting would probably be all you need.
