Hi all, new to the forum. I recently acquired a roll of 1964-D quarters in various conditions, but pulled out these as they looked like they could potentially be examples of the RPM FS-501 or RPM FS-502. I am a complete novice in terms of errors so any guidance would be greatly appreciated as to what I might have. Following the mintmark photo "2" I attached photo that appears to potentially have a die-crack (something this website alluded to as being tell-tale signs of the RPM?
http://www.varietyvista.com/09b%20W...DRPM002.htm).

Note: I haven't attached pictures of the full coins as they didn't show the MM in any detail whatsoever, however if you would like pictures of the full reverse let me know and I'll happily add them. To me, all of these look to have some sort of doubled MM, but I know very well that they could just be doubling and that I might have nothing here on my hands. Are there more obvious signs of RPMs if none of these turn out to have repunched mintmarks? Thanks in advance!

These are all Machine Doubling on the mintmarks. Note the areas you are looking at all have the same thing in common:
1. The mintmark has a reduced size because the Machine Doubling removed the contour of the devices.
2. On the same coins you will find Machine Doubling also in the same direction on other devices on the coin.
3. The only affected areas affected are the outside edges of the devices, where Machine Doubling affects all devices. This leaves the area in question flat not enlarged.
4. The mintmarks are not enlarged. When you look at RPMs, note that you can see evidence of two or more punching of the mintmark punch.
Note on the listings on Variety Vista, that the overall shape of the mintmarks are enlarged from the multiple punchings.

When compared with your coins images, the mintmarks are all normal sized.

Well the 1-4 is how Machine Doubling would affect coins and the mintmark areas. Not for each of your coins.
