Since I revived this thread (in a CCFPress thread on 1857 The last Large Cents) and it's getting some new views I thought you might like to see some really good photos of the 1868 Large Cents. Here are two one in Copper and one in Nickel from the Douglas Bird Collection that was sold in 2020 by Ira & Larry Goldberg. So an update is in order...

These are both on my one cent pattern "wishlist". Not many around, but one of each recently sold at heritage for big $$.
