I'm in the search of uncirculated 1982 and 1983 nickels. Next will be any non BU's from 2000 to present (but most of these are already BU, so that will be easy.. Collecting since 1972. Dearborn Moderator United States 95360 Posts	Posted 12/23/2022 4:15 pm So, as of today (12/23/2022), I have gotten all of my nickels From 1946 to 2022 upgraded to BU quality coins - all of them are uncirculated. I ordered the 1942-1945 War time silver in a BU grade and they will come in next week. Today I got the 1942 (P) and D type I in today - and are BU coins as well. All I need to do now is get the early coins in a BU grade dated from 1938-1941. Here are my Pages 2-5 that I have upgraded and placed in my Dansco album: I'll post up page one when I get these all done - Soon I hope Collecting since 1972. But possibly due to all the mild weather conditions across the Eastern half of the country - I still have not gotten my BU Wartime silver nickels... Collecting since 1972. Dearborn Moderator United States 95360 Posts	Posted 12/29/2022 6:59 pm Well - a small set back on one of the coins. I got 2 1943-S silver nickels, making me short the 1942-S - I'll have to go back and order the '42-S BU silver nickel to complete it properly. The coins came from OGP Cello packs - the seller separated the nickels from others in the set. and the one of the '43's had some hardened black grease or something obscuring the last digit of the date, Before an acetone soak and followed up with verdi-care the true number shown through. So I don't blame the seller (much). So back to cropping and re-sizing for posting to follow soon. EDIT: When you see the reverse of the 1944-S, it looks weak or worn, even though I took it from the OGP. I went back and looked at other '44-S nickel reverses from graded PCGS MS65 and they look weak too. Was that normal for this year? Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget. On the next image, ther eis a nice die crack interesting the building and the rim at K9 - not sure what happened there it does not extend beyond the radius of the coin - a lamination maybe a hit but it was still in the cello and the obverse does not show any sign on bulging - I'll get better pictures of this guy and post it in the errors forum, so save your comments for that place please. and This one - with a nice lamination Collecting since 1972.
