Good evening community. Thanks so much for info on vista varieties. And the Wheat penny encyclopedia. Here are some pictures of areas of concern. Please help if any knowledge can be passed to me. Hope you enjoy the pictures. It was absolutely frustrating trying to not use trick photography. Lol safely looking and god bless

Nothing... just a steelie, rode hard and put away wet.

The 1943 wartime cents were struck from zinc-plated steel to save copper for the war effort.

It proved a horrible choice. They turned a truly ugly grey, the zinc rots away in the presence of water, and the underlying steel rusts too.

Please be specific as to what you see going on. What are your questions? I see lots of post mint damage areas, but not sure what you want to know of us?

Almost looks like a doubled eye lid, but it seems to be a part of the hit the surface of the coin took.
