I would love to say that it is a doubled portion of the outside column but I don't see anything else that would indicate it. The fact that it continues on up past where an extra column should end makes it difficult to be sure of what this is. It had to be created by a long depression in the die. I still lean toward a die gouge of some sort but I would get a few other thoughts on this one too.
