1994 Doubled Die Reverse / DDR / Phantom Lincoln?

PeterPan21 New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 10/24/2021 12:50 pm Hello, coin community! I found this 1994 penny, and it looks like there's a second Lincoln in the bay immediately to the right of the normal Lincoln. Has anyone ever seen something like this? Report this Post to the Staff

merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 10/24/2021 2:21 pm I see what you are thinking, but I believe there is just staining that appears to be in a shape similar to Abe's statue. There is nothing in the minting process that would duplicate the statue in an adjacent bay, so no mint error, just what I think is a stain. Report this Post to the Staff
