I am not even sure how many errors there are on this coin. I am definitely a newbie. I just live the hunt of error coins. Any help is greatly appreciated!

The arc looks like a scratch from a coin wrapper, that just affected the darker color on the coin. Not a premium for damage to a coin. Just to know what it is the premium. Because when you see this toss it into circulation again, but it is a damaged coin.

@shei, first welcome to CCF. Second, just to echo what @coop was saying, I'm seeing some surface staining, marks and nicks from circulation, and an arc-shaped scratch--all of which are damage rather than mint errors. I can't quite tell from the pics, but it looks like the mintmark might have a little zinc rot around it.

Finally, the lightness of strike on the rev on STATES is quite common as so much of the metal flows into the die to make Abe's bust on the front of the coin. Of everything that I see, this is the one aspect that comes from the mint. Is there something that you see with the coin in hand that we are missing?

Hi everyone. Thank you for your insight. I wish I could get better pictures for all you. Behind Lincoln's eye is what looks like a second eye. Also you can see letters in-between the words In God We Trust. I have done the toothpick test and around the mintmark is not rot. The bowtie is off and if you look at the head it looks like letters as if something else was stamped onto it. As to the curved line it is raised so I wouldn't think that was from a roll. But like I said newbie here but I think I will send it off to be checked over to satisfy my own personal curiosity. Thanks again everyone!

to CCF. I would not spend money on it to have graded, there are no errors on your coin. If you must send it in,use ANACS because they charge the least. Please post full slab photos front and back when you get it back.
