Second, just to echo what @coop was saying, I'm seeing some surface staining, marks and nicks from circulation, and an arc-shaped scratch--all of which are damage rather than mint errors. I can't quite tell from the pics, but it looks like the mintmark might have a little zinc rot around it.
Finally, the lightness of strike on the rev on STATES is quite common as so much of the metal flows into the die to make Abe's bust on the front of the coin. Of everything that I see, this is the one aspect that comes from the mint. Is there something that you see with the coin in hand that we are missing?
