Just bought a 2019 S Enhanced Reverse Proof Eagle. Mint box and COA. I'm fairly new to collecting and curious on opinions about getting it graded by PCGS. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Welcome. I recently bought the same year coin type on ebay already PCGS graded/encased. Choosing to send a coin in for grading is both a financial a personal thing. I'd check out PCGS and NGC costs, add that to what you paid for it, then check sold ebay listings for the same type either MS70 or 69 assuming your's would grade such. The sold ones will tell you current market value. But you won't know if your's will grade 70 or 69 which have significant price differences. You could look at your's with a magifier to see if it's great or has any scratches. Maybe you just want to enjoy the experience of sending one in to grade. In that case the cost isn't as important. Good luck.

I know graded modern coins are popular including ASE, AGE, IMO grading is good for old classic coins. To each their own and the more the merrier.

In my opinion it's worth sending in to grade. As the lowest mintage ASE ever the price difference between PF69 and PF70 is quite large - ~$1300 for PF69/ungraded and ~$2100 for PF70 on ebay. Grading it will cost you around $50 or so (I use NGC, but PCGS should be very similar), which is a small price to pay for a chance at PF70. And if you look at the population reports on the NGC and PCGS websites you'll see that more of them grade PF70 than PF69.
