Excellent news - I don't often hear that kind of outcome in cases like this!

Super late on this but I'm very glad it turned out for you, @Greasy!

I was the victim of a burglary some 10 years back now and I never did get any of my stuff back. Some ASEs and other coins, big screen TV, Playstation 3, DVDs, 3 guitars, etc. After that I bought a big 600-pound safe and now store all my valuable coins in there. Also moved away from that area to a neighborhood with less crime a few years back.

I'm a bit late on this post but, am so happy that the coins were found.

I always, always take photos of my coins, not all but most of them but, definitely for the rare and valuable ones. That way I have a visual proof of ownership as well as our well kept inventory. My photos aren't always the best so that's why some of my posts aren't clear, etc. I also take photos of them in their safely kept notebooks.
