ive been going true over 1000 canadian copper cents for the past week and ive found many DDD 70s cents alot of die clashes cents and some other odd errors but this one caught my eye. is this a lamination error? it almost goes from 7 o clock to 1 o clock. or is it just some really odd corrosion?

Doesn't look like a lamination.
Hard to tell without coin in hand but possibly some substance
has been spilled on it.
Soak in acetone for 24 hours and see if anything is removed.

Is there some sort of coating that the coin has been coated with? It looks like a waxy/unknown surface contaminant that is starting to come off.
