Even with all of the scratches does it seem plausible to get a VG-8 details at best?

Would it be worth the effort to try to remove/conserve the verdigris or is the grade going to stay the same no matter what?

I'll say VG details (ED, severely cleaned). No chance of conserving this.

Yeah it makes VG8 details. Too bad about the condition because this is a key date.

Look for a better specimen. Even a Good or VG-8 would be better than this mutilated coin.
