. Not an error. It is PMD=post mint damage. Most likely from a vending/counting/wrapping machine.

@max, first welcome to CCF. Second, I grew with @john1 that the number 6 in the date has been mechanically damaged. We see this somewhat often here, with either the final digit of the date or the L of LIBERTY being partly flattened.

Agree with the above, moved/displaced metal caused by a hit. Copper is a relatively soft metal.
