Fabulous find. Educate a non Canadian collector how some are magnetic and some aren't. Were the wrong planchets accidentally used or did they alter the composition at some point throughout the minting year?
Edit: How common is this variety?
Also. When you say,"No logo". . . What are you referring to?

It is definitely scarce, I believe there is 5-6 varieties. I don't know all the facts but the no logo no P were all meant to be magnetic.only the P and logo should have magnetic. There is no logo no P magnetic and non magnetic, P magnetic, and logo magnetic and non magnetic. I'm not sure if there is a P non magnetic but the P was for plated steel so if so it would be just as rare. There was a P stamped on some it was also I believe the first year they introduced the RCM logo on coins.

It was a confusing year for the mint as they were experimenting with zinc planchets and steel planchets thus accidentally creating a magnetic version of the regular 2006( no p no logo). This commands a premium ad also does the 2006p non magnetic as like wrekkdd said it was intended to be steel plated thus magnetic. Thanks everyone!

Coins and Canada has 2006p non magnetic listed , but all of the above are listed in uncirculated. So non proof and non specimen 2006p magnetic and non magnetic both exist outside those two sets.
Edit:2006P non magnetic appears to be the rarest of them but I don't usually use CAC for accurate judgement.
