According to my Red Book, there is a special uncirculated 1997-P nickel that was included in the Botanical set for 1997 with only 25,000 minted. The only Botanical set I can find in the Red Book is the Prestige set with 80,000.
All the Botanical sets I have inspected have an S-mint Jeff. Did some come with the P mint ( like say, 25,000) and the rest with S mint? How do you get a Botanical set that has the P mint "frosted" Jeff in it? Why do the numbers not match (i.e., one is 25,000, one is 80,000?)/ Is it worth trying to get this nickel that was only 25,000 minted as a good investment? Or is it just hype.

Hi, I have one of each of these sets and I also have the 1993 with the 1994 matte sms nickel inside.
These sets are different than the Prestige set you mention.

The 1993 Jefferson coin and currency set was issued in early 1994 and includes the 1993 gem uncirculated Jefferson dollar, A special Jefferson two dollar bill and the 1994-P "special finish" or "matte" Jefferson nickel. Total Mintage: 167,703

The 1997 United States Botanic Gardens Coinage & Currency Set is the rarest coinage & currency set to date. These sets contain the 1997 Botanic Garden uncirculated silver dollar, an uncirculated 1997 Washington one dollar note, and the rare uncirculated matte finish 1997 Jefferson nickel. Total Mintage: 25,000

I think you can find these in the modern commemorative part of the RedBook.

To actually locate the sets or coins themselves

Use key words in a search on Google or ebay
1993 Jefferson currency set
and/or
1997 Botanic Gardens Currency Set

If you are just after the nickels try searching for
1994 SMS Jefferson or 1994 Matte Jefferson
1997 SMS Jefferson or 1997 Matte Jefferson
