(COUNTERFEIT SEE MY EDIT BELOW)
This coin appears to be a Sheldon 5 or S-5 which is a good sign to start with. But we need photos of the 3rd side as well - photos of the edge, to determine it's not an electrotype as well as the weight in grains or to the nearest 1/10th of a gram.
I too am curious of the backstory on this coin. where did it come from? Are you the current owner? If it is indeed real it is in the realm of the 12th to 20th finest known examples. I'd place the grade around AU53/50. The surfaces tend to make me call electrotype as they are a touch more grainy and there is little luster showing as one would expect to see on a coin of this grade and high condition.
Even electrotypes are quite valuable these days and very collectible, so even if it's not the real deal it still may have a substantial high three or low four figure value. If the coin is indeed real then all bets are off somewhere from $26,000 to $38,000 is a good guess at today's prices.
Looking forward to hearing more on this coin!
Strike that I found it. This is a known counterfeit and NGC has posted an article (5/12/2015) using these very photos on their website: Go here to see them including close ups. These photos are the same down to the pixel size, as if they were taken from NGC's website.
