I have been away for a spell, no offense to anyone, and would like to show and tell a few of my NEWPs. I picked this Mercury dime primarily for the tone, and the old white ANACS holder that it was in. I crossed her into PCGS and have taken a shine to her, possibly replacing my other Mercury Type in my collection. What do you think of her? Thank you for your interest and comments.

Beautiful coin. It is not my series, but I can see no wear or evident flaws, so I'll just say MS-65FB.

on this dime, too bad this didn't have the D mint... I think I'll agree with the Frog on a 65ish with awesome toning.

Very worthy representation for a type set.

I absolutely hate toning. It makes a coin so very ugl...and...Ooooh! Well...tell you what oih82w8. This coin is so disgustingly terrible (b/c it is toned) that I will offer to take it off your hands for free. I will put it away where you never have to be insulted by gazing on the horrible colors and condition again. Hey, what are CCF Family members for?! Oh its SO terrible...I think I will have dreams all night long about it now. 65 FB Wow!

MS-65FB. A choice coin for a type set! Although I don't find the toning very attractive.

If you like the toning, do whatever you can to preserve as is. That means enclosing it in an airtight. Acetone bath and completely dry beforehand. Toning will progress to full grey over time, if you don't take any action. I like your FSB's ! Typical nice wing detail over Mercury's ear (first master die), in MS grades for this type. Was worth w8ing for.

Is it just me or does the reverse look like a stronger strike newer die than the obverse? Over all I like the look. John1
