photos are a little too small to see surfaces for proper assessment. the cleaned obverse photo has too much glare.
AU58 or MS62. without better photos I'm leaning AU58

A better post acetone photo is needed.

Reverse appears close to mint state but I see significant friction on the obverse high points and loss of luster in the fields. AU-53 or AU-55 at best, IMO.

OP has done a decent job with the pictures but the state of the luster is inconclusive. The pre-acetone photos show a well struck coin with no wear. The post soak obverse shows a coin with a weakly struck head. I guess it is due to the limitations of photography, but solely based on these pictures, I would say au58 with questions about the originality of the reverse.

Even I didn't see these until I put on the macro. Based upon your guesses I'd say any chance of an MS is out the window.

The head on this one is fuzzy per the nature of perimeter macro functionality. a few ?s What's the final verdict? What's going on with Liberty's patina? Was the loss of field luster mainly caused by the whiz or can a coin still have luster with a whiz?

Coin doesn't look whizzed to me. I see mint flow lines, sharp obverse devices and surfaces consistent with an MS coin with maybe some rub but it is not conclusive. The reverse devices show some rub at the bow. Let's see a nice full shot of each side under consistent, natural lighting conditions.

I think NS is correct it would help to have a blow up of both sides under natural light to reduce the glare as the latest photo of part of the obverse is not showing any wear on the high parts and the coin may be MS Quote: Was the loss of field luster mainly caused by the whiz or can a coin still have luster with a whiz? almost all coins under MS65 could have missing or maybe no luster remaining and still be MS
