Hello Folks. I found this 2013P dime with a incuse depression on the neck area. I don't know if it is struck thru or PMD. It doesn't appear to have tooling marks in the depression but I am not well versed in error identification. Your opinions please and thank you!

Has the look of a struck through to me but the photos are a little blurry when I zoom. Not sure what it was struck through though possible a blob a grease.

Is the top of the oak branch bulged out a bit? I ask because that is what it appears to me as. iIt also seems to be just opposite of the dent from the obverse..

I'm not seeing a matching bulge on the rev so it seems more like struck through to me. I'd put this one in a 2x2.

Dearborn, No bulging or anything abnormal on the reverse. Also the dent on the obverse would run in a different direction than the oak leaves. I'm thinking some hard debris that was not retained is the cause but I really don't know. Thank you for your observation.

OK, yeah, It could be just a bit of the glare giving the appearance of it bulging out a little. I now wonder what could have gotten into the striking chamber hard enough to cause that big dent.
