This looks close to the 1963-D 25c WRPM-001 on Wexler's site to me.
Thanks in advance!

This last pic looks like a separate D rotated counter clockwise inside and underneath with the bar running from NW to center bottom of inside of Mintmark

Any chance of getting a close up like the one on Wexler of your coin? Wexlers' is a d-d-d and I do not see that on your coin,I see MD with these photos.

On both examples on the right side of the loop, that is Machine Doubling on John's Example and this example. We need to see the upper/lower serifs to see if the split are present or not. The MD on the east side is not a viewing point. Just Machine Doubling on that area. So so far I'm not convinced on this one yet.

I am seeing notching, top and bottom of MM, but I still think it is MD not a RPM.
John1

EDIT to fix nothing to notching.

Am I the only one that can see the split upper serifs? Faintly one the lower as well. Try locating the markers for -001 that Wexlers provides. Looks pretty good to me. The photos clearly show the splits unless my bifocals are messed up.

I looked for the die markers but I did not see them, this just came out of a mint set but it does not look like a very good strike when comparing details to one listed, so I do not know.

What I see is a RPM, that was struck that way, but the Machine Doubling altered the lower part of the mintmark, removing the lower serif right after the strike. The examples posted on different sites, tell me that the MD was happening a lot on this machine. So There are probably better examples out there without the MD. But the MD hides the rest of the RPM on this one. The split upper serif is there and a diagonal line in the center of the mintmark. To me the MD ruins the value for it, but others might not care?

The best test to see if it is a match would be a location match on your coin and the RPM to see if they are a match. Then you know for sure it is the same die?
