Weak Strike? Adjustment Strike? Please Help! 2000 Maryland State Quarter

Curious though, what sort of damage causes a smooth edge? There aren't and ridges and the 'corners' between each face and the edge don't seem to have rounding. Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 11/09/2021 5:37 pm Put into a commercial dyer is often the cause, or smacked with a spoon on the outside edge of the coin. Some serious damage was done to this coin, whatever caused it is just a damaged coin issue. Report this Post to the Staff
