Any help in what these dates are, sml/lrg? Both are copper and weigh out at 3.1 on the dotski. Both have doubling, obverse and reverse..appreciate your wisdom!!

Both your coins are Large Date
I don't see any Doubling from those photos on the Obverse.
You didn't supply photos of the Reverse so can't say.

Agree with all the above, large date coins. The 'D' is most likely a copper coin, maybe the Philla as well.

Ok..so what do you call the raised lettering which when I look at it under scope it has block letter type outlining? I'm very new to all this and I'm super addicted and want to learn everything I can...i kind ofbthought the D mark penny's date was difficult to discern because the 8 and the 2 are obv much thicker than the 1 and 9..ill post pics of reverse too. And so if these are both lrg d8.#s there no value?

They are both 100% copper..weighed 5xs each every time 3.1
