Not that I'd ever defend them, but....

There have to be literally thousands of actionable auctions a day on that place. Not only would you need enough people to do due diligence on each, they would have to be competent in the area reported. Competent people = big payroll $$, and we all know what the biggest controllable business expense is.

The lawyers are telling them, "Hands off! Don't imply responsibility!"

The beancounters are telling them, "We can't afford it anyways!"

Let's say I ain't holding my breath.

I see items misfiled all the time. I think at least some of it is done intentionally by the seller to get folks to look at their items. Think about it. If you goiong through Lincoln Wheat cent listings and suddenly a silver dollar picture is seen, it has your attention, because it is different then the rest. I think it is a sales tactic, but possibly, the seller will not get the full value of the coin as a result.

Well, there's no doubt this guy does it on purpose. He lists them in 2 categories, one is correct, and he makes sure the second is always a US category just so people looking for US coins see the clutter.
