I still am in favor of this one getting added to the CherryPickers' Guide whenever a new addition comes out. Very nice doubling and shows to some extent on all outer devices. I picked it a while ago and finally showed up today.

Super nice find. How does it look circulated? Would a keen eye be able to tell?

I have at least one circulated example, and yes you can see it. But it still has to be a reasonable grade as very much device flattening and it's gone.

congratulations

the grade and stage makes (not that it needs it) the doubling stand out even more

Still a fantastic coin. A very nice die state. If the sites don't have an earlier die state, they might like to do a photo on it?

Thanks for all the great comments! As for submitting it for a new die stage, that's not as easy as it used to be. Just drop it in the mail and done. Now you have to submit photos to CONECA and get their permission to send it in and I put figuring all that on hold when I had to go away for work back in June. I have tons of unlisted stuff as it just keeps backing up and never getting out the door. Guess I should revisit their current method and try to get that pipeline flowing again.

They (CONECA) are making progress and some attributions are being mentioned in the CONECA magazine (when submitted through their attribution service) but I can't really figure out how to qualify or actually accomplish a listing.

I think what has happened is people have sent coins in for regular attribution to determine an existing variety number. If it's new they may give it a new number?

As opposed to submitting a coin with the express intent of applying a new variety number?
