These "bubbles" are I believe called "zinc dust" but I guess you can refer to them as bubbles. When I think bubbles, I think of trapped gas and these are not trapped gas. This zinc dust is a particle on the solid zinc core that can occur prior to receiving the copper coating. If/when the copper exposes any of the zinc, blisters will form and soon a condition known as "zinc rot" will widen and eventually destroy the coin. So back to what I believe is your question, zinc dust will hasten the lives of cents and destroy values. Post 1982 cent values are doomed and faith in their collectibility is foolish in my opinion. I really hope I'm wrong, but science says otherwise. Enjoy them while you can!
