Was recently found in a bank roll of Pennys, no idea on date. Could it be a error? There are NO raised feeling to either side and the images are like a ghost image? Value? Please help with any info, thank you all in advance.

to the CCF
Cropped photos would have helped with the image but from what I can see,
The Obverse has been ground down creating a thinner coin.
This would just be considered damage to the coin with no extra value.

It does seem to be human-caused damage to the obverse, from what we can see, resulting in the ground-down appearance and thinned planchet.

No sorry but this cent spent some time in close contact with sandpaper or the like. The missing metal means that it should be below mint specs on weight.
