I'm only certain that this was issued under the auspices of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles VII, but beyond that I'm stumped. I believe it's billon in composition. About 16mm in diameter with the weight coming in at 0.83 gram. Possibly a 1 kreuzer?

Normally when I see a key like that on a coin, I jump to the conclusion that it is Regensburg, but you are right with that attribution of Bremen @big. Well done! Now I just have to remember 1 key = Bremen, 2 keys = Regensburg.

Thank you. I saw the "BREM" in the legend & thought of Bremen. Should've followed up on that hunch.
