I'd appreciate some help in trying to figure out what's going on with this coin. There's a thin rectangle shape of missing metal on the left side of the obverse and just to the right of that rectangle is a lightly wrinkled area. Then, on the reverse, in the same place as the wrinkled area, is another unique mark that looks like the "shadow" of a very very small straight pin shaped object including what looks like the impression the head of a pin would make if it was squashed into something. It's not super clear in the pics, (I need a different microscope) but the head of the "pin" is at the upper right leg of the "N" and the pin shaft runs up at a slight angle through the monument ending just past the left top corner of the roof, pointing between the "E" and the "D" but doesn't touch them. It looks like whatever this object was, was big enough to cause the wrinkled area on the obverse.

Back to the obverse, on the right side, there's a notch of missing metal that goes up to the rim, crosses it, and follows it's line onto the reverse.

Did something get stuck and smashed into the coin when it was struck and caused those marks? I'm confident it's not an actual straight pin, because I don't think straight pins come in that small of a size. The shape of the marking just reminded me of a straight pin.

If something did get smashed into the coin and caused those marks, would it have any premium above its face value? I don't know how rare a thing that is or if I'd need to send off to be verified/graded?

Thank You!!!

Please know that your Lincoln Cent has suffered nothing other than PMD. Please look closely at your 4th and 5th pictures. You can see the edge of the coin has been slightly expanded more, and outside of, what a normal struck Cent would exhibit. This could not happen during the minting process. Sorry, but all you have here is a damaged coin.
