I would estimate between $80 and $140 USD
I lean more to a hundred dollars or less if I wanted it.

I think I'm reading a 1779 date on the obverse. It's a Spanish Colonial issue, I'm not sure mint or assayer marks are clear enough between the corrosion and poor photos to make out - likely Mexico, Peru, or Bolivia though. ebay shows that 1779 is an Ok date for these, stronger values than the 1782 I collect. Many 8R shipwreck coins of this era came from the El Cazadore wreck, but this piece has lost its actual provenance. Also, beware that counterfeits are not uncommon with this issue.
