Is this just regular damage or a plating issue? Not sold that this would be a grease error myself. Thanks for opinions!

I'm guessing damage on this one, maybe someone else will clarify, some marks look like another struck through but the deep one with the core showing I'm guessing is heavy damage.

Thanks guys wasn't too sure based on the deep pitting but I agree pic 3 made me think PMD was possible as well.

Looks like Struck Through Grease to me, the one close up photo looks like some of the grease was retained in the coin, which, I assume, you subsequently removed with acetone?

From experience, these errors are always more appealing, and sell for slightly higher prices, when the retained grease is left on the coin.

Another strike through?! I hope I still saved it as I figured it was damage but I always appreciate your opinion SPP. I did not clean it at all as that's not my thing but what would the grease appear as had it been left on?
