2016 25 Cent Damage/Plating Issue? - Coin Community Forum

SPP-Ottawa Moderator Canada 10456 Posts	Posted 11/19/2021 1:46 pm Looks like Struck Through Grease to me, the one close up photo looks like some of the grease was retained in the coin, which, I assume, you subsequently removed with acetone? From experience, these errors are always more appealing, and sell for slightly higher prices, when the retained grease is left on the coin.
