Would this be considered a lamination error on the reverse of this coin? Or, is it something else?

I think it's a cracked planchet, which would be a bit more scarce than a simple lamination.

I agree with chuck, for two reasons: One is at the rim of the coin, on BOTH faces, which indicates a cracked, or broken planchet.coin, and the othet is a 100 PesoMex. coin I have BU, that is cracked, and the separation is even more noteworthy!
