Hi everyone

I recently acquired this item. It looks like bronze, weighs 28,4 grams and is 35mm in diameter and about 3mm thick.

I'm not sure if it's a coin or a medallion.

Any help will be appreciated!

I'll leave its authenticity, to the more experienced.

I looks like it has a thick coat of lacquer on it, this was done to preserve the coin. It could also hide flaws.

Thanks, jbuck. I used to be part of the community, but lost my username and password so had to re-register. It's good to be back!

A very nice and rare coin. I don't see anything to cause me to doubt its authenticity.
