SPP-Ottawa Moderator Canada 10458 Posts	Posted 11/25/2021 11:09 pm Such a descriptive title to this thread... how does one know it was not struck through a thin cord, or string, or just a line of hard grease gunk? Well, the braid pattern can be seen along the entire length of the strike-through. Also, when you zoom into the feature, you can see lots of short curly 'strands' struck through all along both sides of the main, braided feature, which, to this error collector, is quite cool! When I saw the third and fourth photos, at first I thought the fibres were still there, then realized it was a whole bunch of little indented lines which happened when struck. Amazing !
