Very Odd 2005 West Virginia State Quarter Possible Error?

Rim is all flattened out and coin is thin as well but seams to weight the correct amount. Has anyone seen this before? Pics dont show it very well but there's a goldish tint to coin also. Certainly didn't leave the striking chamber in that condition. Yes, I've seen similar damage on quarters, cents, nickels, etc. Report this Post to the Staff
