Hello Zohar First from that assayer for you? Are you collecting by assayer now? (there is an 1803 TH) Nice coin, looks like you are only going for the TPG slabs. I have several new 8's coming in the mail, I'll post pictures of them when they arrive. Archraz, let's see some pictures of your new ones.

Sorry that it took me a while to reply to this. My scanner has been on the fritz, but it is under control now. So here are my 2 new 8s. So how would you grade these guys? Methinks that the 1800 is a F, but it has been cleaned and was a metal detector find, so it received a few scratches from excavation. The 1821 is a solid VF despite the scratch by the date. This coin is especially interesting since it has some major doubling. manilagalleontrade- Thanks! Well there are some scratches on the obverse through the King's head and eye which extend through the "E" in "DEI." There also are a few scratches that crisscross that long scratch. Oh, well, I know that they were since my dealer got them from a from a friend of his who is a metal detector enthusiast and told them that that was how he found it. In fact, my dealer was the one who cleaned it since it supposedly "looked really bad and even had loose dirt" on it.

My package arrived, the coins are outstanding IMHO and I'll get scans or photos up as soon as I can. Work is crazy right now and time is at a premium.

The scans have a harsh color look to them, the actual coins have really nice color. I need to practice with the brightness control on the scanner. Life is a learning experience.
